Dear folks at Instituto Intercultural del Caribe,

I interested in your job offer of a Program Advisor for Sosua. I am currently teaching at ISLA Academy in Laguna Beach, and live in Sosua. I’m originally from Canada and have now been living in the D.R. for 4.5 years. As well as teaching, I have experience as a literacy coordinator, and a librarian. I love communication in its many different forms and want to learn more about working in a medium-sized language school which serves as an interface between education and travel. “A varied, interesting job with plenty of space for my ideas and personal development”, sounds like a perfect match for my interests and skills.

I am fluent in Spanish, having grown up in Spain and having been a student of Bachillerato in Fuengirola. I have experience hosting and teaching Japanese students in Canada. I have excellent computer skills and can work in both Mac and Windows environments. I have a Masters in Education from Alaska University.

Please email me if you think I am a good match for what you are looking for.

    Best regards,
    Khristiane Woods
