Study abroad programs: tailor-made to your requirements

IIC regularly works with student groups from the US, Canada, and the French Antilles to organize faculty-led Spanish Immersion and Study Abroad Programs in the Dominican Republic. Usually, the programs are designed for academic credits for the university.

The IIC Group Programs cover Spanish classes, room and board, transportation, and a complete activity program including excursions, service work, cultural encounters to get to know country and people. They are tailor-made to fulfill and exceed the interests and requirements of you, your university, and your group.

“Race, Culture, and Society in the Latin Caribbean”, for example, is a 12-credit faculty-led program we have organized for the Faculty of American Cultural Studies at Fairhaven College/Western Washington University in Seattle/Bellingham. Other programs focused on “Spanish and Culture” (Seton Hill University, Greensburg PA), on “Public Health and Health Disparities” as well as on “Service Learning” (Georgia State University, Atlanta GA).

Please ask us for ample itineraries that give you an idea of what a program for your group could look like.
