#I am a Nurse

Today is International Nurses Day. It is celebrated on 12 May, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth (1820-1910). This year, more than ever, public health workers around the world deserve our greatest respect and appreciation for putting themselves day after day into the frontlines, at home and abroad, fighting COVID-19 (and all those other diseases we, these days, maybe too often forget). We as human beings will always need those who commit their lives to helping others.

¡MUCHAS GRACIAS!

IIC Spanish School says „Thank you – Muchas gracias – Vielen Dank!“ to all the nurses, doctors, caretakers and frontline public health workers out there.

Our THANKS to you: It is certainly not the time NOW. But in the (hopefully near) future, when responsible travelling will be possible again, come to the Dominican Republic! You can stay at our school residence in Sosua or in Santo Domingo, take a Spanish class if you like, or you just come, relax and enjoy a well-deserved vacation break from this craziness. We’d love to have you!

If you are a frontline public health worker, you will receive a 25% discount on all on-site IIC Student lodging and IIC Spanish courses for whatever date you can and like to travel in 2020 and 2021.

Just tell us „I am a nurse“. You can contact us here and by email to info@iic-spanish.com
